KTM has named all four of its 2021 riders - moving Miguel Oliveira alongside Brad Binder at the factory team and placing Danilo Petrucci with Iker Lecuona at Tech3 - which in turn confirmed the departure of team leader Pol Espargaro (set to join Repsol Honda).

It means twelve of the places on next year's MotoGP grid are officially taken, with all the KTM and Suzuki (Alex Rins and Joan Mir) seats now full.

Prior to the KTM news, Aprilia had announced a new deal for Aleix Espargaro while Ducati named Jack Miller as its first signing for next season (an agreement is also understood to have been reached to place Moto2 star Jorge Martin at Pramac next year).

Yamaha announced its factory team line-up of Fabio Quartararo and Maverick Vinales back in January, while offering a factory-specification bike to Valentino Rossi at Petronas.

Repsol Honda then surprised with a lengthy four-year contract extension for reigning champion Marc Marquez.

Avintia Ducati's Tito Rabat is the other rider with a seat confirmed beyond the end of 2020.

The current MotoGP team/rider contract list is shown below and will be updated as each place on next year's grid is filled...
